Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal Information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, meaning information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in the information, as well as data relating to appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and information that can identify a specific individual from a single piece of information such as health insurance card numbers (personal identification information).

Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)

The Company may ask Users to provide personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when registering for use. The Company may also collect transaction records and payment-related information containing Users' personal information from our partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad distributors; hereinafter referred to as "Partners").

Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

1. To provide and operate our services
2. To respond to inquiries from Users (including identity verification)
3. To send emails about new features, updates, campaigns, and other services offered by the Company
4. To contact Users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, and other communications
5. To identify Users who violate the Terms of Service or who attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or improper purposes, and to refuse their use
6. To allow Users to view, modify, or delete their registration information and view their usage status
7. To charge Users for paid services
8. For purposes incidental to the above

Article 4 (Changes to Purpose of Use)

1. The Company shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when reasonably related to the original purpose.
2. If the purpose of use is changed, the Company shall notify Users of the revised purpose or publish it on this website in the manner prescribed by the Company.

Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties)

1. The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent of the User, except in the following cases and as otherwise permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws:
   1. When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
   2. When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
   3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government body or a person entrusted by such body in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual's consent may impede the performance of such duties
   4. When the Company has given prior notice or made public the following matters and has filed a notification with the Personal Information Protection Commission:
      1. That the purpose of use includes provision to third parties
      2. The items of data provided to third parties
      3. The means or method of provision to third parties
      4. That provision of personal information to third parties will be stopped at the individual's request
      5. The method for accepting the individual's request
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not constitute provision to third parties:
   1. When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use
   2. When personal information is provided due to business succession through merger or other reasons
   3. When personal information is used jointly with a specific party, and the individual has been notified in advance or can easily know the items of personal information used jointly, the scope of parties using it jointly, the purpose of use, and the name of the person responsible for managing such personal information

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1. When requested by the individual to disclose personal information, the Company shall disclose it without delay. However, the Company may choose not to disclose all or part of the information if disclosure would fall under any of the following, and shall notify the individual without delay of such decision. A fee of 1,000 yen per case shall be charged for disclosure of personal information.
   1. When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
   2. When there is a risk of significant impediment to the proper conduct of the Company's business
   3. When disclosure would violate other laws and regulations
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information, shall generally not be disclosed.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

1. Users may request the Company to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") their personal information held by the Company if the information is inaccurate, following the procedures prescribed by the Company.
2. If the Company receives a request from a User under the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company shall make the Correction, etc. of the personal information without delay.
3. The Company shall notify the User without delay when Correction, etc. has been made or when a decision has been made not to make Correction, etc.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

1. If requested by the individual to suspend use or delete personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use, etc.") on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or was obtained through improper means, the Company shall conduct a necessary investigation without delay.
2. If, based on the results of the investigation, it is determined necessary to comply with the request, the Company shall promptly carry out the Suspension of Use, etc. of the personal information.
3. The Company shall notify the User without delay when Suspension of Use, etc. has been carried out or when a decision has been made not to carry out Suspension of Use, etc.
4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if Suspension of Use, etc. would require significant expense or is otherwise difficult to carry out, the Company may take alternative measures necessary to protect the User's rights and interests.

Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

1. The content of this Policy may be changed without notice to Users, except for matters otherwise provided by law or in this Policy.
2. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
